Mid Wales Tourism (MWT Cymru) is a not-for-profit membership organisation supporting over 550 tourism and hospitality businesses across Powys, Ceredigion and south Eryri.

Who We Support
We work with a wide range of tourism businesses, including accommodation providers, attractions, activity providers, food and drink businesses, and local experiences. Most of our members are small, independent businesses.
Many are owner-run. They care about what they do and about the place they are part of. Our role is to support them in practical ways that make a difference day to day, from visibility and marketing through to industry updates and connections.

35 Years of Supporting and Connecting Businesses
Mid Wales Tourism has been supporting the industry for over three decades. Over that time, the region and the way people travel has changed, but the need for clear support, strong representation, and a sense of community has stayed the same.
A big part of that has always been bringing businesses together, through events, partnerships, and shared opportunities where people can connect and learn from each other.
Our Mid Wales Tourism & Hospitality Conference is one of the ways we do this. It gives businesses the chance to step away from the day to day, hear useful insight, and connect with others facing similar challenges and opportunities.
As we return in 2026, the conference also marks our 35 year milestone. It’s a chance to look ahead, while also recognising the businesses that have shaped tourism in Mid Wales along the way.
