The Mid Wales Tourism Conference brings our tourism community together to focus on the issues that matter most to businesses across the region.
It is the main tourism gathering of the year in Mid Wales, giving businesses the chance to hear from industry experts, connect with other tourism operators, and meet organisations and suppliers who are here to support the sector. The day helps delegates understand what is happening across the industry, what changes may be ahead, and how we can continue working together to strengthen tourism across Mid Wales.
This year’s conference is particularly special as we mark 35 years of Mid Wales Tourism. It is a moment to reflect on how far our industry has come, and to look ahead to the opportunities for the next generation of tourism businesses.

Built on What Attendees Value Most
Our 2023 conference brought together tourism and hospitality businesses from across Mid Wales, with 77% of attendees rating their overall experience as superior or above average. Feedback highlighted the value of practical content, strong speakers, and the chance to connect with others across the industry.
After a short break, we’re back in 2026, and it’s a special one. As we celebrate 35 years of Mid Wales Tourism, the conference will once again focus on supporting businesses, sharing useful ideas, and bringing people together to move the industry forward.
