All of the 110 en-suite bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard and offer a variety of styles from single rooms to honeymoon suites.
Each hotel room has ensuite bathroom, flat screen television, telephone, wi-fi access, trouser press, hair dryer, quality toiletries, 24 hour room service and tea and coffee making facilities.
All floors are serviced by lifts at the front and rear of the Hotel.
All hotel break accommodation packages include complimentary use of Spa facilities.

Conferencing
Conferences and other special events are arranged under the personal supervision of the Metropole’s Events Sales Manager, Adele Davies.
The Metropole can host small meetings for six people as easily as a large conference of 300. There are 14 separate function rooms available and their variety of room size allows almost any configuration of seating.
The ease of parking in the large, free, car park and the warm welcome that delegates receive upon arrival ensures you are quickly able to get on with the business at hand.
The Metropole has the experience and the amenities, coupled with a professional management team with which to stage many different events from conferences to weddings, banquets to fashion shows. Despite the Victorian nature of the hotel, there is disabled access to the hotel via a lift from the car park into the main body of the hotel, entrance width 1100mm. The contemporary David Spencer suite built in 2004 offers state of the art facilities in air-conditioned comfort. The room can be used as one room seating up to 240 people theatre style or broken down into 3 smaller rooms. With complete black out facilities, built in audio-visual equipment, its own lounge and bar, the David Spencer suite is a self contained venue ideal for any event.
The Powys Suite incorporates the Ballroom and Powys Room. Each room can seat over 150 delegates theatre style and with the sound proofed partitions removed the whole room is ideal for meeting with relaxing adjacent break our area. The Powys suite is frequently transformed into an Exhibition hall and can comfortably accommodate up to 40 stands. All rooms can be equipped with modern audio-visual equipment and conference aids.
As well as these main rooms they also have the Garden Room Suite which can accommodate 60 delegates cabaret style or again be broken down into 2 sound proofed rooms. The magnificent Wedgwood room is very popular as a training room, seating 20 boardroom style with a break out conservatory.
